My Students

COVID-19 can't stop my kindergarteners. Everyone is taking this new way of living in stride. My little ones are tapping into their reservoir of creativity and making the best out of a terrible situation. Suddenly, tents are made from blankets and everyone is discovering that there are hidden gems within the walls of their homes.

Many siblings are stepping up to the plate to help their little brother or sister maneuver through all of the new technology that has been thrust upon us all.

Fortunately, I have a treasure trove of old material (mostly old paperwork) that will come in handy. And frankly, it really doesn't matter what I have, because if I don't have something, that just means that I have to come up with a new way to be creative in my digital classroom.

My Project

Having these awesome science kits will help to make distance learning fun and exciting for my kindergarteners. Although I'm not Bill Nye "the science guy", I can still evoke some of his science charm and charisma into all of the science kits that I hope to get.

Just imagine watching crystals grow, watching butterflies burst out of cocoons, or helping me to make an ooey gooey slime concoction with glitter or best of all watching a volcano erupt and mess up your teachers kitchen.

These are things memories are made of.
