This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students inspire me every single day. Many of them have experienced hardship at home, but that has never stopped them. They come to school every morning with such a passion to learn that it is contagious.

My students love to push the boundaries and are always looking for solutions and new challenges.

I see this every day when my students are completing math centers, reading, and participating in our classroom science experiments. They are always asking questions and always looking for answers.

The passion they possess is what drives me to keep pushing my students as a teacher. There is so much that they desire to know, and I want them to have the opportunities they deserve to learn.

My Project

Having tablets in my classroom will give my students the extra support and exposure they need to succeed. The benefits of tablets are endless! Students will be able to us apps on the tablet during center time to support the academic topics that are being taught in class. Students who need more academic support or need more challenging content will be able to use programs that can support them. Students will also be able to use apps that will support them in learning to code and will expose them to scientific content that they may not be able to access at home.

Technology is the future, and giving my students the gift of tablets will help them be a part of this amazing movement.

Being able to learn coding skills, reading skills, math skills, and science skills from tablets alone is a great supporting resource in a classroom.
