This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a diverse group of Kindergarteners that are mainly Hispanic. They are eager to learn and love being in school every day. These kids have the biggest hearts! Headphones would help then stay focused on their work virtually while maintains social distancing. Individual headphones will also help stop the spread of germs within our small classroom.
My Project
My students are struggling moving towards learning virtually this year. We mainly work from laptops in our classroom to help maintain social distancing. In order for the students to hear the laptops the volume must stay up. This causes a lot of disruption since it projects too much noise within a small classroom. The students would greatly benefit from headphones that would allow them to focus on their own work in class. The students would have their own personal headphones to prevent the spreading of germs. We want to have a safe and healthy school year and headphones would help us achieve that!
