My Project
I have the unique opportunity to serve as a math cluster teacher in an amazing elementary school. I see about 130 kindergarten students this year and they are so excited about math!
My kindergarten students develop awareness of numbers through a hands-on approach.
We use puzzles and other manipulatives so that students develop 1:1 correspondence in a way they find exciting.
Later in the year, we use these same materials to add and subtract in a tactile. way. Students love math and an early love of math blossoms as they grow!
