This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to provide my kindergartners a rug full of smiles that will brighten their day at school. Students will have a colorful rug to actively learn and share with their peers during small and whole group instruction. I look forward to welcoming a new group of kindergartners every school year. Every school year is always exciting as I prepare our classroom and decorate it to make it feel like our home. We become a family from the first day of school and will look forward seeing each other daily. We go from being strangers to learning so much about each others personalities to also missing our friends when they are out sick.
