This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A classroom rug is very important in a kindergarten classroom because it gives young children a special place to sit together and learn. The rug helps make the room feel cozy and safe, like a small home inside the school. Teachers use the rug for story time, group lessons, and fun games. It helps kids know where to sit so everyone can see and hear well. The bright colors, shapes and alphabet on the rug can also help children learn letters, numbers, and how to share space kindly with friends.
