My students walk in the classroom every morning eager to learn, they are excited to see what the day entails. From the time my students walk into my classroom I what them to feel special.

My class is filled with your typical kindergartners, that love to learn, what a great way to learn with play.
My Project
My kindergarten kiddos missed out on preschool. With no preschool the chance to learn to socialize and the ability interact with other is missing in the skill set. They also have a huge gap in fine motor skills which help in our handwriting skills and building muscles. Nevada has implemented play based learning into kindergarten classrooms. With these materials students will be engaged and build fine motor skills.
We have a hour in our day for play based learning instruction and are missing the materials to keep students engaged and learning.
Students love this time of the day and a Workbench would be a great opportunity for students to use their imagination, build vocabulary and social skills.
