Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal as an educator is to provide my kindergarteners with a home away from home. My wish is for them to enter the classroom and feel comfortable with different seating arrangements that make learning flexible for various learners. Allowing this space for them will keep the students both motivated and focused. The floor chairs and wood cushions provides students a space to read comfortably. The table allows them to work with peers and is a great space for a computer center. The legos and play-doh are for additional hands on brain breaks. I know that if these items were to be donated to my classroom, my students and I will be so thankful! I truly believe these items will make this space a second home for my students.
