Kindergarten Literacy and Numeracy Development

My Project

There are ten students in my classroom. Each of these students is curious, talented, and hardworking. All of my students have IEPs and learn differently. One way to help my students achieve their IEP goals is using manipulatives. Manipulatives provide practical, active, engaging lessons in the teaching of literacy and numeracy. It also helps to build fine and gross motor skills.

Therefore, I am asking for some jumbo magnetic letters, snap and learn alphabet letters, an apple tree matching, and big beads for stringing and counting bears with matching bowls.

These resources will allow my students to develop mathematical, literacy, and motor skills. The development of these skills plays a vital role in their future learning and success.
