My Students
My students are so curious about the world. At four and five years old, they are constantly asking questions and want to know more. Their desire for knowledge is evident. In these fundamental years of development, they are learning to be readers and writers. This group has a passion for learning.
My students are highly motivated kindergarteners from West Harlem (Title I District) that have so much potential to succeed.
My class student population is diverse and is made up of multiple ethnicities, ENL (English as a New Language), IEP (Individualized Education Program) students. Diversity within our school is something we embrace and nurture.
In kindergarten, we teach children about empathy. This group is caring and they always strive to be better community members. They take an interest in each other. I want my students to always take pride in themselves and their learning materials.
My Project
Just like all children, my kindergarteners LOVE learning through play. Your donation will help support purchasing magna tiles for my classroom. The students will have the opportunity to use their imagination to create.
These are great tools to teach students to work together and build endless creations.
After the past year and a half of remote/ hybrid learning, my students are learning how to build and foster relationships with each other. Connecting with each other through play is developmentally appropriate at this age. Thank you so much for supporting my kindergartens!
