This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In August, I will be teaching in a bilingual kindergarten classroom with integrated special education students. No matter my student's personal circumstances, my students walk into my classroom each morning ready and excited to learn. I feel it is my duty as an educator to provide students with the best education possible; this includes creative activities, arts integration, and innovative exploration. I, along with my students, choose to embrace the idea of "thinking outside the box" at all times. Please help fund my projects. In doing so, you will join me in reiterating to my students that every person deserves a personalized, top-notch education, regardless of economic status.

My students may not have much, but they come into school excited and ready to learn each and every day.

Their energy and desire to learn is contagious! My students may only be 5 and 6 years old, but I believe keeping them excited about learning is the key to future success. These supplies will ensure that our environment stays exciting and engaging. Please help give my students the necessary supplies, such as pencils and crayons, to create a captivating and clean learning environment for my intelligent and kindhearted kindergarten students.
