This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to learn daily despite the fact that most of them come to school with little or no school supplies. I focus on providing a fun and creative learning environment.

I teach at a Title I school where 100 percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch daily.

My students are regular education and English as a Second Language Learners. Most of my students live in single parent homes. I know I cannot change the struggles they face at home, but I can make sure their lives at school are positive, exciting, and rewarding.

My Project

Having a HP OfficeJet Pro Printer will alow me to print letters to parents. I will be able to use the printer to make my classroom environmental print rich. I can use the printer to create mini offices for my students to use during Writing, Math, Reading, and Language Arts. It is hard to get documents printed in a timely manner for my classroom. Most of the time my printouts are not printed until two weeks after I need them. I can scan documents to display in my classroom.

Printing in color keeps my students engaged.

Having this printer my students will be able to have materials printed in color which is very interesting for them. My students can use the printer to print their final products from journal writings. They can print pictures for their classroom projects. I can communicate classroom needs with parents in a timely manner. This printer will enhance my classroom communcation with my students and parents.
