Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With every year that goes by, I have truly adored every elementary school class that I have ever had the privilege of teaching. I am so excited to be transitioning back to kindergarten this year, and it’s such an amazing experience being able to establish the academic and social foundation in these little ones.

Every kindergartener in my class will be able to unleash their imaginations and will allow them to express their creativity as well as fuel their friendships within these fun and interactive centers!

The play kitchen, Lego, and dining table will help promote social skills within dramatic play centers. Students will love to build letters, sight words, and numbers with the Play-Doh.

The headphones will enable my kindergartens to effectively hear some of their educational curriculum on their Chromebooks.

The circle time carpet and easel will allow me to run fun and interactive circle times that will promote student engagement.

These centers will not only help further develop their social and emotional skills with their classmates but will instill a sense of belonging in our safe and comforting classroom environment.
