This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As our babies enter kindergarten we want them to explore and love learning. We want them to learn and play at the same time. I am requesting a CVC Word Game, Alphabet Learning Ice Cream Set, Wooden Counting Peg Board, and other hands on materials to improve their letter and number recognition. Magnet letters, matching, and making words are a great way to help them learn.

Letter recognition is key to learning sounds and reading.

When the student learn what they are looking for they are able to make connections and learn faster. Once they learn the letters and sounds they can begin to put them together and read words. That is the first step to reading and comprehension.
