Kindergarten Engineers

Help me give my students gears and stem sets to help encourage students' engineering, design and critical thinking skills.

My Project

I have a class of 28-30 five year old students from a title one school. They love learning about how things work and discovering new things together using teamwork.

The Gear sets are open-ended STEM building sets.

The Gear Stem sets will help build teamwork/social skills as well as encouraging early engineering, design and critical thinking skills.

The Gear sets will introduce and reinforce skills we are working on in the classroom. For example: sorting, grouping, counting, and early physics skills. Students will also be working on building their fine motor skills while promoting reasoning and problem solving skills.
