This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember what you had to learn in Kindergarten when you were younger? Social skills and recognizing the alphabet, numbers, and colors. Kindergarten students now are learning how to read and write.

My kindergarten students are five and six years old, ready to learn!

By the end of the year, they are required to read, write, and add numbers. They are super busy and like to move around. They love working with their friends to play games and to put puzzles together.

My Project

Our kindergarten classroom needs hands on activities during centers, such as games, puzzles, magnetic letters, and puppet shows, to help learn the basic skills required in kindergarten. Not only will they learn through these activities, but they will have a lot of fun!

Through the use of hands on activities in our kindergarten classroom, I believe my kindergartners will develop a lifelong love for learning.

They will be motivated and ready to learn each day!
