My Students

I am about to have a classroom of sweet Kindergartners who will come to school each day ready and eager to learn. I can't wait to witness their growth from August to May. My students come from a low socio-economic background. For most of them, Kindergarten is their first school experience.

I have never taught Kindergarten before and I am super thrilled to support my new fall class.

It has been a professional goal of mine to support learning at a Title I school and my dream is coming true soon. I am such a new teacher and moved to Arizona last year and am missing many crucial items to create a magical and meaningful learning environment. I have been collecting rainbow-colored storage bins, rugs, and posters to engage and excite young learners in their first elementary school experience.

My Project

Our classroom is sorely in need of books and materials to get our Kindergartners engaged and active in their new environment. Our class library books and charts are limited in our room and we need more of these items for daily use, organization, engagement, and fun exploration!

Hands-on, sensory, and visual materials are crucial for learning at the primary level.

I really want my students to have access to our own classroom library daily and for take-home books. The charts will help us organize our learning intentions and schedule!
