This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are just learning to read. We get various reading programs from year to year that don't exactly match each of my students progress. I differentiate my small reading groups and use printable beginning readers and it is nice for the readers to have some color instead of just black and white copies. I think the color and the printable leveled books make reading much more accessible and even a little more exciting for my students to read.
These kids are our future, and Kindergarten is one of the most important and busy grades they will ever encounter.
