Kindergarten Chair Bags for Creativity

My students need chair bags to help them organize all of their learning materials. These bags will keep all of their learning tools right at the tips of their finger tips.

My Students

My 30 students are inner city students who attend a public school where funding has been cut significantly. Their parents chose a public school because they do not have many options which in turn does not provide the schools with a ton of support. My students love to learn through play and cooperative learning. They love to learn through hands-on activities and be very active. I always try to create my lessons to meet their needs. My school can't always provide the materials needed for these engaging lessons.

My Project

My classroom is set up to be as kid friendly as possible. All materials are shared and accessible to students at all times. The students are constantly moving from different spots for buddy work, group work, or literacy centers.

Chair Pockets would help the students organize their personal items since we don't have desks.

This donation will help my classroom be more organized, help my classroom run more smoothly, and give the students the personal space they need since we do not have desks.

Kindergarten is such a hard transition for children and the Chair Pockets will help them feel more at home because it will have their own belongings in them.
