Kindergarten Center Supplies

My students need the supplies like a word building magnet letters, alphabet stamps, and TIME For Kids to help with their phonemic awareness and phonics. The supplies will help them recognize letters and build their first words.

My Students

Kindergartners are very imaginative. They have such an enthusiasm for life and learning. They come to the school as my first group of kindergartners. This is a school in its second year. This is an exciting time for some, and a nervous time for others. They are excited to learn and are depending on their teacher, me. They want to explore as they learn. I need to provide that environment in the very best way I know possible.

The best way they can learn is by play.

My Project

Recognizing letters is the first step for many kindergartners in literacy. The word building magnet letters and alphabet stamps from Lakeshore encourage recognition of letters and build words. This will encourage student learning while they have fun. Centers are a major way to let me as the teacher meet with all my students.

The subscription to TIME For Kids will help with what is happening in the world and literacy all at once.

Students love all the fun things included with the subscription and look forward to the monthly magazines. The variety of these supplies will help keep centers engaging and fun.
