My Students
Our school is a wonderful place to come and enjoy the arts while learning. Our school has 3 wonderful kindergarten classes full of vibrant students who truly love to come to school. Our classes have a very diverse set of needs with half of the students speaking English as a second language.
Each day is a new adventure in the world of learning.
My students come to school to be fed, feel loved, and find their place in this world on top of learning how to be a citizen in today’s world. They enjoy the safety of the community we have built.
My Project
This project will help 80 (all 3 Kindergarten classes) scholars be successful with Distance Learning.
As we kick off the 2020 school year, we would like to put materials in the hands of our scholars to replicate what they are missing out on in the classroom.
Scholars will receive crayons, pencils, and notebooks to creatively express their thoughts after whole group/small group read alouds and lessons. Scholars will use the white boards to practice writing their name, letters, and numbers. We have asked for Unifix cubes to practice counting and representing numbers. Books will help our scholars with beginning reading skills and concepts of print. Scholars will also have the chance to learn and teach their family games using dice.
Please help set up our youngest learners with a wonderful kindergarten experience.
