I teach Kindergarten in Southern California at a Title I high poverty elementary school. A majority of my scholars are English Learners, some having just arrived from another country. They are loving and eager to learn!
Kindergarteners absolutely LOVE partaking in any art activity.
We are constantly using glue sticks, glue tape, construction paper, expo markers, sharpies, cardstock, making crowns for various holidays, etc.
I am requesting some supplies to help our depleting art supply stash. Glue sticks are used daily in our classroom. Cardstock is used for our various crafts. White unlined sentence strips help keep our crowns on our heads for the many holidays we recognize. Each scholar receives a box of 24 crayons every fall. I'm hoping to receive these to be prepared for the next school year. Sharpies, hot glue sticks, vis-a-vi markers, black expo markers, etc. are frequently used and loved in our classroom.
With your help, I hope to not only replenish our current art supply stock, but to also be ready for my new incoming Kindergarteners next fall.
