My Project

My students have eyes that are full of wonder, hands that are constantly busy, mouths that are full of questions, bodies that squirm with anticipation, and minds that are eager to learn. This is how my young kindergarten students arrive at school. They are excited to be part of the big school and to start down the halls of their formalized education path.

They enter as young children, scared and uncertain, but they leave as experienced students with both knowledge and confidence.

They know that learning is fun and eagerly wait to see what is prepared for them each day.

Our classroom routines and procedures have changed due to the interrupted learning brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. These young Kindergarten students have never had a "normal" classroom experience. Social distancing, masks, sanitizing, and individual storage have become the norm, instead of sharing supplies and whole group learning that was so common in the past.

The world has changed, but Kindergarten is up to the challenge!

We can still celebrate innovative ideas, learn to work in small groups or with partners and make each new day magical and fun while learning lifelong skills.

These supplies will help my students experience an amazing year of kindergarten with water bottles, voice recorders, staples, and so much more! They will be motivated and inspired. Kindergarten will be refreshed and renewed. We will cope with the trials of this COVID-19 pandemic and help these young students succeed!
