We are a small school tucked in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida, and deserve to shine. I’d like to provide for these students the best that I can. Our school motto is “expect success, nothing less” and I am here to help my student know what that means!
My Project
For my hard working achievers, our classroom is in need of a new carpet for whole group instruction. My kindergarteners deserve to have a nice spot to sit on the floor when we are working together in front of the projector and whiteboard. I specifically chose a carpet with individual spots so my young students can easily find a space to sit on the floor. This year, I am going with a nature theme to add a positive feel and to create a calming yet creative environment.
My classroom is also in need of chart paper, a primary tool within the classroom.
Anchor Charts and diagrams are especially helpful, as they enable students to see ideas visually laid out in an organized way. Also, visual tools can help the students process content and to make connections more easily.
