Kinderfabulous Kindergarteners Dive Into Technology

My students need wireless headphones to use with iPads that were donated by our Superintendent.

My Students

What problem am I going to solve? I ask myself this each day...

I teach 15, Kinderfabulous Kindergarteners in an Integrated Kindergarten setting.

Our school is a historical landmark which is a beautiful building but with many technology challenges. I have four outlets in my classroom and a lot of creative vision. Our classroom has been given the opportunity to pilot iPads on a daily basis. I am so excited to introduce this technology to my students, staff, parents, and community members!

My Project

The iPads that I was given came with no added accessories. Therefore, to make them functional on a daily basis, my students would need headphones. I am asking for Bluetooth wireless headphones so that the cords will not get tangled up and the headphone jack will not get ruined. I have run many listening stations in the past and that has been one of the biggest and costly issues. I want my students to be actively working on their literacy and mathematical skills at his/her ability.

Bluetooth wireless headphones will improve classroom management and consent active engagement of each student.

I look forward to their gains this year more than ever because of the added technology in my classroom. Our district has a goal that every student will be tech savvy and I hope to attain that goal in my students' first year.
