Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need learning centers such as puzzles, identification games, and practice books. My students can independently discover and learn about mathematical and literacy concepts with these materials. Each center will provide the much-needed individualized review, practice, or enrichment for each child in the classroom. These materials will also allow my students to teach each other about literacy, math, and science throughout the year.

Students who are provided the opportunity to complete tasks on their own within groups are not only working with the subject at hand but are further developing their social/emotional/cooperation skills.

Even better? They are taking charge of their own educational tasks and are more likely to become lifelong learners. The ultimate goal!
