Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to promote healthy habits at home. I always promote these at school.
When I receive these hygiene items, I will make a bag for each of my students and send them home with a note.
The hand soap is to promote washing their hands. Handwashing with soap removes germs from hands. This helps prevent infections since people frequently touch their eyes, nose, and mouth without even realizing it. Germs can get into the body through the eyes, nose and mouth and make us sick.
The shampoo and shower sponges? Well, they need to take a bath every day.
I know they will be so appreciative of these items. Times are hard these days with prices going up! Your donation will help the parents so much.
