This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students will be attending school for the very first time. It is my job to make sure that students build a positive view of learning and school at just five years old. With the materials requested, students will learn with the help of hands-on activities and manipulatives. When students are able to participate in a variety of hands-on activities targeting specific skills, they become excited to learn. The dice and Lakeshore materials requested will help me build a classroom where students can step away from pencil and paper, exploring hands-on ways to learn.
