My students need laptops for our technology center! Students will be able to use these for iReady, StarFall, Reflex and other amazing resources that will help them make substantial growth in all subject areas.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are awesome. They are loud, loving, energetic and so excited to be at school. Miami is a melting pot, so I have students from all around the world in my classroom.
I am completely outnumbered by the most eager, loving and bright 5 year old students.
They are twenty-five, I am one, but we are a team. They work together to bring the best out of each other, and we make the best out of what we have. I am so fortunate to be their teacher.
My Project
These laptops would make a world of a difference to my students. They will be using laptops every day during their technology center as a way to reinforce what we are learning in class.
The laptops will allow students an opportunity to practice a multitude of skills at their level through the usage of latest technology.
On the laptops the students can play number sense and alphabet games, view science videos, use phonics apps and work on iReady, Reflex Math and StarFall.
These laptops would be extremely beneficial for all students and will allow differentiation, so they can work at their own pace and achieve their own personal goals.
