My students need a notebook computer, printer, spare ink, photo paper, computer speakers, travel case, and mouse to use in the classroom with a new doc cam that we just received.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is a title one school we have just acquired a document camera to project work to be given or explained to the students, but we do not have a laptop computer to use with the doc cam. We do not have a printer to print work to be handed out, or work students have created

The students all come from low income families, the majority speak only Spanish, all though they are American.

They have not been exposed to much of the world or technology and some only get to use technology at school. They are just starting kindergarten and with a laptop it would make it much easier to show them how to use technology.

My Project

"Chevron Classroom Challenge" With a laptop I will be able to show and explain to students how to do work and teach them curriculum. With the printer I will be able to print student work and use it to print pictures of them doing work to put up in the classroom.

With these materials teaching will be more enhanced for those students that are visual learners and much easier to explain material and make sure that every student can see what is being taught.
