This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

If we want to save the world, we need to start teaching our kids early in elementary school so they become more aware of the problems that humans have inflicted on the planet.

These books will guide children through actions they can take to help clean the environment and save our future.

Many people think children can't help and are helpless, but I believe that they are passionate and can change the world starting in their homes.

My students are unique and special because they ask difficult questions about the environment, so I need to start showing them that children can make a difference in the world. When we listen to children's voices, we validate their opinions and encourage them to choose the right action for their future.
