Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is my first year teaching in a special education classroom. I would love to give my students that have been placed in the PBIS setting have access to fidgets, flexible seating, markers and other items that will help them succeed.
The kids that will be in my class struggle with basic coping skills so having these fidgets to help them when they need to regulate will be a huge bonus.
There are times my kids need to not be able to sit in a regular chair but would like options, so having flexible seating will help with that.
