My Students

My students are in fifth grade. They love art, science, literature, and getting their hands dirty. A lot of them reside on farms in rural homes, so they have tough chores to complete on a daily basis.

My students are kind, honest, and very caring.

They enjoy a good challenge as they have been tested this year, especially with this virus. Their perseverance and hope inspire me to do better for them. They are a great group of loving kids who love to read and learn.

My Project

Hi! Please help! There is a family at my school that can use some love. There are 2 young girls in the family and an older brother. The boy is in my class, and he is phenomenal! He is kind of shy, but he tries his best and participates in class with a heightened eagerness to learn. He is new to our school this year, so he attends tutoring to catch up twice a week. He comes to school in clothes that are too small, too big, or full of holes and even sometimes women's shirts. His sisters' clothes do not fit them either.

Every day, I teach my students to lead with love.

Giving these 3 students some new clothes will show them so much love and help boost their confidence! I ask my students a question every day to gauge their feelings or learn something new about them. This boy usually talks about helping make his sisters' lunches and getting everyone ready for school. He rarely says anything about himself. I know these gifts would mean so much to him and his family. Thank you for helping us!
