Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Covid has left my students with void of music and its effects in their lives. Because they were are home with not much availability to play instruments. They are loving the hands on learning and playing music. The joy in their faces as they play instruments and move around the room tells the story of how much they have missed music. No one will know the real effects of their missing out on music.

They love listening to music, moving and playing instruments.

The instruments for this grant are selected as a replacement for the instruments they play on a regular basis. The Instruments in my classroom are worn out and need replacing. With these replacement instruments my students can have richer music experience and love music and learning even more.

The Ukuleles will give each student their own ukulele to play. The tuners will make it easier for students to learn to turn their own instrument.
