My Students

My students LOVE games! They are actively involved and engaged and learning skills at the same time! Who knew learning could be so much fun! Games such as alphabet bingo and rhyming bingo and puzzles would give my students an opportunity to practice letter sounds, rhyming, and word building.

My students are an active group of five and six year olds.

They come from a variety of cultural and economic backgrounds. Some have many opportunities for learning at home, while some do not have very much support. I try to provide many different kinds of learning opportunities throughout the day to reach each of my students.

My Project

The games and puzzles that I have asked for will be used frequently. All kids love games. I will be able to have my group of active kindergartners involved and engaged in a game while learning the necessary reading and math skills that are required for success.

This project is important to me because I feel that young students learn best when they are involved and having fun!

These games will do just that. I can teach important skills, then they can practice and review while having fun.
