Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a class of 4th graders at a school servicing East Palo Alto. East Palo Alto is a systematically disadvantaged city in which the majority of its residents are low-income. Most of my students are people of color and English-language learners.
My 4th graders work hard and deserve to play hard, too.
These games will not only help them learn Math, ELA, and social skills, but also bring them hours of fun and lots of joy! Some of these games will be used during small-group instruction to give my kids a fun way to practice new skills, and some of these games will be available for students to use during their free-time during arrival, dismissal, and choice time.
