My Project
This summer 18 middle and high school students are traveling to Japan! Travel journals make a significant difference in students international learning experiences by encouraging them to be more observant and reflective during their international travels. Every night, students are required to journal about their day. This allows students to not only analyze and interpret their experiences, but gain a better understanding of themselves. They can identify personal strengths, weaknesses, and biases, leading to increased self-awareness and personal growth.
I want my travels to have a memory preservation that is not tied to their phone.
Travel journals serve as tangible keepsakes of students' international experiences. They can revisit their journals years later to relive memories, recall important details, and appreciate how their perspectives have evolved over time.
