Kids Coding with Kids Grade 8, Code.org CS Ambassador Event

Help me give my students individually wrapped snacks and water to give them energy during a session learning about coding.

My Project

Students in grade 8 will learn about course offerings in computer science at our high school.

The participants will be mentored by three our high school girls who are currently taking CS classes and, they will guide the grade 8 students through some coding exercises and highlight why they should take CS classes next year.

The 8th-grade students will learn about course offerings as well as some block coding and the high school students will learn how to present information and share their enthusiasm for computer science.

Since this is occurring after school, I would like to offer snacks as an incentive for attending. In addition, providing snacks will help our participants focus on their learning and not hunger they may have because it's after school.
