This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the most inquisitive and curious 5-14 year olds. They are great role models to our community who love to help one another. There isn't a day that goes by without witnessing their generositiy towards each other. They help complete and understand tasks that others might be struggling with, they share materials, snacks, they say please and thank you, and open doors for one another, they help those with special needs and shut down bullies! They are not shy, they stand by their beliefs. Such an outstanding bunch.

My Project

I miss my students and their wonderful creations. Prior to the pandemic, my students had access to many materials and everyone got a chance to share, unfortunately, due to Remote Learning not only are we no longer working together, but my students have no access to the materials they have enjoyed working with in the past. It is my hope that with your help, I'll be able to provide my students with individual art kits so that they can continue creating Art at home. Please help me send home some joy!
