This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of a kidney table is almost a daily activity in my classroom. My students are energetic and motivated 4 year olds who come from low income families. A kidney table will be the place where I can help smaller groups of children focus on areas they may be struggling in. It will be the time where the students and I can check in not only academically but emotionally as well. The table would give my students an opportunity to be better supported and I can reach more of my students individually.
