My Students

Do you remember what it's like being in a classroom with 30 other students? It can be hard to focus, especially when you learn differently from others. By having a small group instruction area, my students will be able to have that precious time to work with me and focus with no distractions.

My students are all amazing!

Getting to know your students throughout the year is one of the most incredible experiences. They come into your classroom in September and we're all a little nervous. A lot of new things are happening. But once they see that they're in a safe learning environment their personalities start to show and before you know it, it's like we've known each other forever. Each of my students are special and unique in their own way and I want to make sure I can give them the individual attention they need to succeed!

My Project

The kidney activity table will allow us to create a small group instruction area in our big classroom. By having this area I can focus on a small group of students who need that extra instruction to feel confident and achieve academic, as well as, social success. It is easy to become distracted and discouraged when you're in a classroom of 32 students and you have a hard time concentrating. The small group kidney activity table will give my students the space they need to work with me in a small collaborative group where they can become more actively involved in their learning. The kidney activity table is shaped in a way where the students can work together and focus on the instruction.

Small group instruction has many benefits, but sometimes it is difficult to set up a comfortable area where the students can learn.

We need your help! By helping us get this kidney table you can help us create a comfortable, safe, and beneficial learning environment that supports all types of learners! Thank you so much!
