Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our campus is full of amazing students with so much energy and potential, but we’ve noticed a gap, especially for our boys. Right now, we don’t have enough clubs or extracurricular opportunities that truly engage them in a positive and structured way.
I would like to start a soccer club and create a space where boys can stay motivated to succeed in school by feeling connected, staying active, and being part of something meaningful beyond the classroom.
Soccer is more than just a game as it builds confidence, teamwork, discipline, and pride. Many of our boys already play at recess with makeshift goals and no proper equipment. With your help, we can give them the soccer balls, water dispenser, and scrimmage vest they need to take that love for the game to the next level.
This club will give students a safe and supportive environment to grow both on and off the field. Whether it’s learning how to pass the ball or learning how to be part of a team, this club will help shape them in powerful ways. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
