Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We have a strong community (family) school where all the teachers know all of the children and their families. I teach in a public school. I see 751 students a week. I teach low-income students and they are truly a ray of sunshine. They do whatever I ask and they don't complain. We make some of the equipment we use in class.
For every stage of a person's life, there is a place called home, a place where you feel special, and where everybody is either friend or family.
My Project
The student will develop positive self-management and social skills that are needed to work independently and with others in a physical activity settings. They can exhibit a health-enhancing, physical-active lifestyle that improves their health and provides them with opportunities for enjoyment and challenge. They will apply movement concepts and principals to the learning and development of motor skills. The students will demonstrate competency in fundamental movement patterns and proficiency in a few specialized movement forms. They will build a teamwork bond and focus on learning how to work together.
