Kicking Off Success: Help Us Score Soccer Balls for Students!
Help me give my students the opportunity to learn and play soccer in a safe and fun environment with their fellow classmates while creating positive interactions and lifelong friendships.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Middle School students absolutely love learning about and playing soccer. They would play all year round if they could. Being situated in an urban community, these students are limited to open areas and fields to be able to play outside of school with their friends. They are also limited to being able to play on organized teams primarily due to financial difficulties. These soccer balls with help increase confidence and physical fitness level for our students. Friendships and positive social interactions are ultimately created when children are doing something they love to do.
