This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing children who love to learn and play. Many of them are English language learners. This project will use soccer to help my students learn about the sport, develop their English language skills, and stay healthy by exercising. Soccer is a sport that transcends language barriers and brings diverse backgrounds together through a shared love of the game.
Learning through play is a natural and effective way for children to develop crucial skills and knowledge.
It also promotes physical and mental well being.
My students will read books about soccer to learn about the sport. Soccer is also a great way to learn about teamwork. Playing soccer teaches players to communicate effectively, support each other, and work together to achieve common goals.
My students will enjoy the soccer theme incentives they will get in class for their hard work. They will look forward to recess every day to play soccer and release energy. Thank you for supporting my little scholars!
