Help me give my students the dodgeball and soccer balls so they can develop throwing and kicking skills. I concentrate on target games consisting of throwing and kicking at targets.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will aid in teaching students at varying levels of throwing and kicking at targets. The size and softness of the balls help students grip the ball and throw in varying styles (underhand/overhand). The softness of the balls helps student success in kicking the ball towards a goal or other students while promoting safety. My students desire to improve kicking and throwing skills in order to promote lifelong sports participation throughout school-age athletics into adulthood. My large classes of 20 or more students need plentiful equipment so all students have ample opportunity for participation during our short class time.
