My Students

I have a group of energetic and smart students who live in an urban/rural area of North Carolina. My school is a Title I school where more than 70 percent of the students' family are considered low income or poverty.

The school where I teach is a diversified mix of cultures and languages.

Each class is evenly split between males and females between the ages of 11-15. I am a teacher that enjoys activities and movement in the classroom to spark their learning.

My Project

Kick off the school year the right way!

The use of whiteboards is almost a weekly activity in my classroom.

With engineering, structural, and technological systems, it is important for the students to draw out and see what their projects look like. Glue guns will help with projects that we build such as transportation systems and structural building made from craft sticks.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology! These items will contribute to the success of my students.
