it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One thing I love and enjoy most about my students is when they are smiling and having fun. I am committed to making their teenage years the most memorable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, growing up in this neighborhood, a good and safe environment does not come naturally. Just the other day, there was an altercation involving a number of our students while they were simply walking home, and this prompted me to do something about it. Keeping our students off the streets and active in a safe, supervised environment is the first step in solving our problem.
We need resources and materials to ensure our students are able to have fun in a safe, secure environment.
The materials we are requesting are minimal yet very effective, as soccer is by far the most popular sport at our school. With the materials listed and with your help, we plan to hold open gym and soccer tournaments after school in our school gym during the spring time.
