My Project
At BES, a Title I school serving over 400 students, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to discover their talents and build confidence through the arts—regardless of their financial situation. That’s why we’re launching our very first Piano Lab, a groundbreaking project that will offer free piano lessons to any student in grades 4–6 who wishes to participate.
This will be the first piano program of its kind at our school, and for many of our students, it will be their very first experience learning to play an instrument.
With your support, we’ll be able to equip our lab with digital pianos, headphones, and basic instructional materials so our young musicians can learn, practice, and grow in a focused, engaging environment.
Music education has been proven to boost academic performance, improve emotional well-being, and build lifelong skills like discipline and creativity. For our students, many of whom face economic challenges, this lab is more than just a room with instruments. It’s a doorway to self-expression, joy, and possibility.
With your help, we can provide equal access to high-quality music education and inspire the next generation of musicians, dreamers, and leaders.
Thank you for believing in our students and helping us bring music to life at BES!
