This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to me with unique musical perspectives from a variety of diverse backgrounds. My goal as an educator is to always provide an inclusive and accessible learning environment for them.

Currently, I'm often stuck behind my workstation and piano in the corner of the room, which can feel limiting and impersonal.

A mobile workstation for my large piano keyboard and Chromebook (with some good cable management) will allow me to move around the classroom and be more present with my students.

Additionally, I can optimize space to accommodate more student movement and use the piano in different areas of the classroom. This will improve accessibility and flexibility, promoting inclusivity in our music lessons.

Supporting this project means investing in a group of young, passionate music-makers eager to learn and grow.
